Emilio is on a mission to change the way people work together on complex customer projects for the better. The impetus for him to start Leankor and help companies transform project management came from his own experiences in industrial manufacturing projects, experiencing the inherent challenges and kickstarting his quest to find a better way.

Emilio has over twenty years͛ experience in the tech sector, holding senior leadership, marketing and product management positions in hardware and software companies. His career adventures include senior management positions with SMART Technologies (NASDAQ:SMT) where he lead a software division and was the head of global alliances and M&A and Pervasive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:PVSW), acquired by Actian Corporation, where he headed up worldwide product marketing. Before that, Emilio held senior product management and marketing roles for startups in Austin, Texas, Silicon Valley and Vancouver and spent a number of years with Accenture as a senior consultant specializing in the design of enterprise work management systems in the energy sector.

Emilio is a Computer Science graduate of the University of British Columbia, holds a wireless patent, and has served on the board of several technology industry associations.Outside of changing the world of project management, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the Rockie Mountains with hiking and skiing adventures.

James Lochrie

James Lochrie is a technology entrepreneur and investor.

James co-founded Wave Accounting Inc. in July 2009 and subsequently closed several funding rounds with participation by OMERS Ventures, Inkef Capital, FedDev Ontario, Charles River Ventures, and The Social+Capital Partnership. He was instrumental in leading the exponential growth of Wave͛s customer acquisition and revenue growth.Wave was chosen to be part of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list of fastest growing tech companies in Canada and was recently Wave selected to the 2018 list of Best Workplaces for Inclusion. James is also the founder of Exhibition Capital.

And how did he get started on his tech adventures? If you ask James, he͛ll say that chess molded his strategic thinking and poker civilized his appetite for risk. And he͛s relentlessly focused on and curious about innovation: progress fascinates him.

Peter Loudardeas

Peter Loubardeas

Peter is an investor and experienced business executive with a significant track record in the hospitality, land development and energy sectors.

Like many people who grow up in an entrepreneurial family, Peter was born into the hospitality industry. His father, Gus, founded the Venice House Traditional Grill in Saskatoon in the early 1970s and Venice Pizza and Steak House grew to 24 units in western Canada. It still continues to serve guests high quality affordable meals.

Armed with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1983, Peter started his business career working for Deloitte Haskins & Sells and then for PG Holdings, a land developer in Saskatoon. These experiences honed his business skills prior to striking out on his own as an entrepreneur in the hospitably sector. During the past 15 years in Calgary, Peter owned and operated restaurant chains like Fuddruckers, Loco Lou͛s and Beacon Drive-in, while building up his portfolio of properties via his land development company. Peter continues to be active in the restaurant business and is currently a shareholder in Original Joe͛s Restaurant Franchise Group.

Jacques LaPointe

Jacques LaPointe

Jacques is a tech veteran, founder and senior investment manager with significant Board experience. He is currently the Co-Founder and COO of ATTAbotics, a robotic warehousing and fulfillment system. Jacques has been an advisor and influencer for early stage venture capital in tech companies since 2008 with 5 portfolio company exits. He is a member of VA Angels, one of Canada͛s leading angel investment groups with member locations focused across Western Canada.

Prior to his adventures in the investment side of tech, Jacques spent more than 13 years launching and managing innovative technology products in global markets. His background includes senior roles in Product Management, Marketing, Business Development, and Operations, with experience in the mobile software, telecommunications and engineering consulting industries. During his career, Jacques has completed numerous product launches, has four issued patents, completed an acquisition and has brokered numerous industry partnerships and initiatives.

Hanif Joshaghani

Board Advisor

Hanif is an entrepreneur, founder and financial services veteran. He is currently the co-founder and CEO of Symend, a fintech company with a solution for better debt recovery. Prior to Symend, Hanif co-founded Aimsio, a software solution to better manage field operations and was the Head of Sales and Business Development. Before that, his background includes 15 years of senior roles in capital markets, energy finance, business development and entrepreneurship in a broad range of industries including investment banking, energy, and technology.

Hanif͛s passion throughout his career has been partnering with great teams to make great ideas a reality. Currently he is both focused on growing Symend, an endeavor he believes in passionately since it represents an intersection between disruption, value creation, and social good, and is an investor and advisor for other technology and finance businesses.

Hanif also enjoys spending time with his family and getting involved in philanthropy.
